Asker Healthcare Group acquires 100% of the shares in Hugo Technology Ltd. as an add-on acquisition for CRS medical.

CRS medical and Hugo Technology utilise their synergies in the area of technical service

CRS medical GmbH has been part of the Asker Healthcare Group for almost a year, which has set itself the goal of positively changing the European healthcare sector through the development and acquisition of leading companies in the healthcare industry. CRS medical is the first company in the group to cover the technical services sector. Asker Healthcare Group acquires 100% of the shares in the British company Hugo Technology Ltd. as an add-on purchase for CRS medical, thereby strengthening its position in this growing sector.

Hugo Technology, based near Birmingham (UK), employs 85 people and has been providing technical service, including maintenance and repair, for medical devices from well-known global manufacturers as an independent provider for almost 25 years.

Johan Falk, CEO of Asker Healthcare Group, is delighted to welcome Hugo Technology and their skilled team to the Group. He emphasises that over the last 25 years the company has built up a strong reputation with OEMs (medical device manufacturers) and across the UK market. He is confident that the acquisition and the group's alignment with CRS medical will strengthen Asker Healthcare Group's position in the growing technical services sector and at the same time create many opportunities and synergies for CRS medical and Hugo Technology to benefit from each other on a cross-border basis.

‘We are delighted that Hugo Technology is now also part of the Asker Healthcare Group and that we are working with them to strengthen the technical services division within the Group. This will enable us to take further growth steps in the future. There are many parallels between our companies and we can mutually benefit from our many years of experience. In addition, we can use our synergies to provide our customers with even better support in the future,’ says Dr Michael Schlapp, Managing Director of CRS medical, adding: ’We are also looking forward to supporting Hugo Technology with our experience and helping them to integrate optimally into the group of companies.’
