Our journey to date

CRS medical GmbH was founded in 2004 by Dr. Michael Schlapp, Alexander Vila Wagner and Heike Jonzeck with the aim of offering customer-specific after-sales services and solutions to global manufacturers of medical devices. The company started its business activities in a detached house in Asslar, providing support for two customers. After a short time, the company developed further business areas, expanded and moved into a new company building. From an idea, the company grew to become an international, medium-sized medical technology company with currently over 210 employees.

CRS medical acquires 50% of the shares in the software company avetana GmbH, based in Karlsruhe, which operates specifically in the field of medical information logistics.
2017 - NeuroKard becomes a 100% subsidiary

NeuroKard is a 100% subsidiary of CRS medical, whose core competencies lie in sales and service in the fields of neurology and cardiology.

For reasons of space, a new two-storey building with a total area of 1150m2 is built on the company's own premises.

The Asker Healthcare Group has acquired 100% of the shares in Hugo Technology as an add-on acquisition for CRS medical

Quality management

CRS medical has been certified in accordance with the medical device standard EN ISO 13485 since 2004. Our quality management team ensures process reliability and is continuously interested in improving quality. Our certified processes enable CRS medical to develop and manufacture its own medical devices and to provide services for customer devices. By complying with international standards, we ensure that CRS medical fulfills the high quality requirements for medical devices at all times and in a verifiable manner.
